As the drones were moving into formation during a large-scale demonstration, a lot of them suddenly crashed into a nearby building.

On the evening of January 25, a large-scale drone test demonstration was held at the Chaoyang Bridge, across the Yangtze River in Chongqing City, China.

When the drones were moving into formation, a lot of them suddenly crashed into a nearby building. The scene later showed debris scattered all over the ground and on the river.

Videos and images recorded at that time show a group of drones with blue lights showing signs of anomalies in flight as they slowly separate from the crew and approach a tall building nearby.

After the collision, some of the them landed slowly to the ground, but many crashed into the building and fell directly from the air.

Some have speculated that the problem was caused by the quality of the drones while some have said that it might be the fault of the operator. Chinese citizens said that this incident once again gave people an insight into the quality of "Made in China" goods.

After the incident, an inside source said that the cause was a server crash that led to the aerial devices being out of control and paralyzed. Thankfully, the incident did not cause any human impact. However, the economic damage is certainly not small.
