How to not being single in this digital age? It’s simple, using some dating apps like Tinder. But what if Tinder can’t even help you? Go out to meet new friends, or if you don’t want all that hassle, learn from this guy Aaron Smith, making a dating app just for himself. While women can freely use the app, the only male user is Smith himself.
Just like any other single person, Aaron has used different dating apps with no positive results. He complained that the biggest problem was that there were dozens of guys on these dating apps, reducing his chance of meeting a girl.
Fed up with this, Aaron decided to ask a friend of his to make an app called Singularity to completely get rid of other competitors. Basically, female users can swipe through the photos just like on Tinder. The only different thing is that, instead of looking at photos of different male users, all of them belong to Aaron.

By doing this, it is ensured that his photos are on the app 24/7 and 100% of the female users will see his profile. But whether they decide to date him or not, it’s a whole different story.
Scott McDowell, the one behind the app, said that those who had used online dating apps would sympathize with poor Aaron. He also criticized the decrease quality of these dating apps. Meanwhile, McDowell also stated that if one decided to go the traditional way, by going out and meeting new people, it would be costly. Singularity would deal with all of the problems, at least for Aaron.
At the moment, it remains unknown whether Singularity has helped Aaron meet his loved one or not.
