While some of the leaders in tech like Mark Zuckerberg has been dating their partners since their college days, some other notable figures leaned towards partners with as much or even more power.
The last year also saw some high-profile splits with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his ex-wife MacKenzie getting a divorce. The relationship between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Grimes, a Canadian singer has been on and off for a while.

Who are they: Bill Gates is Microsoft’s co-founder and former CEO. He is also the world’s second-wealthiest person, just behind Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. In 2000, Melinda Gates and her husband established the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2000.
How they got together: Bill Gates asked Melinda on a date in 1987 at a Microsoft’s company picnic after she was employed as a product manager. They had dated for around 7 years before tying the knot. The philanthropic organization of the couple has made investments worth of billions of dollars to reduce poverty and improve healthcare globally. The couple has one son and two daughters together.
Marissa Mayer and Zachary Bogue
Who are they: Mayer is Yahoo’s former CEO and tech incubator Lumi Labs’ co-founder. Prior to this, she was the 20th employee hired by Google. Bogue is Data Collective VC, an investment firm’s co-founder, and managing partner.
