It seems like Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma’s recent venture is progressing quickly so that its first AI-powered electric motorcycle will become available in India very soon.
The procedure has come to its final point where the company has received approvals from ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) in record time.
Earlier, Revolt Intellicorp had announced its plans on unveiling the first AI-based electric two-wheeler of India this year. And since then, the firm has been steadily making progress and the motorcycle’s spy shots have been spotted online.
It is revealed that this upcoming bike has become India’s first electric motorcycle receiving ARAI certification which allows the motorcycle to have a speed range of up to 156km. In taking the Gradient Ability Test, the motorcycle’s inclinometer can reach 10.2 degrees smoothly.
What’s more impressive is how the motorcycle’s lithium-ion battery passed the test at one go. The company executive explained that it was the internal stringent tests that had prepared the motorcycle for its tests. For example, the firm says the battery went through waterproofing, all-weather, cycle life, shock, nail penetration, and performance tests.
Revolt Intellicorp’s founder, Rahul Sharma, emphasizes the importance of the internal tests, saying:
Electric vehicles are making their way on the Indian market because of their efficiency and emission-free mechanism. This move to enter the rapidly growing market of Rahul Sharma should be considered as a smart one. Moreover, India, being a market that prefers budget-friendly products, is favoring electric two-wheelers over other vehicles. Being one of the first companies to join the country’s automotive scenario is definitely beneficial for Revolt as it can get a large chunk of what soon to be a huge industry.
