India's Home-Grown War Game FAU-G Crossed 2 Million Download After Only 3 Hours

FAU-G, India’s home-grown war game, recorded over two million downloads after just three hours on the market.

Available on Android, FAU-G has had an average of 4.6 stars and more than 46,000 reviews on the Google Play Store. Created by nCore games, the title is about the life of an Indian soldier and it portrays how the army is fighting for India on the border areas.

The game is said to base on real situations of Indian soldiers face dealing with both domestic and foreign threats. The Galwan valley serves as the backdrop for the first level of FAU-G. The subsequent releases will feature third-person shooting gameplay.

Players will find themselves in Galwan Valley and since no firearms are allowed in real life, only specialized are available and most of the time, players will participate in hand-to-hand combat.

FAU-G is a war game for Indians and it shows in the storylines which are in Hindi and Tamil, with English subtitles. Other Indian languages will be featured later.

According to Vishal Gondal – chairman and founder of nCore games, the game is launched with the story mode to balance the load. He also said the Battle Royale and multiplayer mode would be launched in the next few months.

The game was scheduled to launch in October last year but was later delayed. In the future, players will be allowed to collaborate and play in teams of 5.
