Elon Musk is famous for running some tech companies including SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, and Boring Company. He also has a reputation for sharing his opinions on social media despite how blunt they may be sometimes. So far, Twitter has been his favorite platform to speak his mind.
Earlier this week, a reporter from The New York Times interviewed Musk with questions on many topics, and what he thinks about getting the COVID-19 vaccine. In short, he will not take it, his family won’t either.

In the interview, when asked about the COVID-19 pandemic, Musk tells the interviewer to move on. Besides, he has been very straightforward about his thoughts on the reaction to the ongoing pandemic, tweeting that the panic is “dumb.”
On top of that, in the recent interview, he stated that he will not get the COVID-19 vaccine when it’s ready because he isn’t at risk. When asked to explain, he just said that he and his kids weren’t at risk of getting the coronavirus.
The interviewer didn’t stop there and proceeded to mention that lockdowns were imposed to save people. In response, Musk said, “Everybody dies.” For the record, he isn’t wrong, and the interviewer had to agree. It’s just a hard truth that not everyone’s ready to hear.

But Musk went on to say that the whole thing diminished his faith in humanity. He said that those at risk should stay home, but people who are young, fit, and healthy should keep their normal daily operation.
The interviewer could not go further on this topic as Musk threatened to end the interview.
Nevertheless, it’s worth noting that Tesla has been making CureVac, a vaccine machine. Musk said his team has been working a lot with the epidemiology team from Havard to do antibody tests.
