Welcome to the generation of artificial intelligence, researchers, scientists, and now doctors and patients will use AI to keep their health records. Doctors of Apollo hospitals in Chennai launched a health management program ‘’Prohealth’’ for just that purpose.
As stated by the Apollo hospital, ProHealth provides participants with actionable analytics so that they can be aware of the risks, thus helping people to lead a healthier life.
Annual Tests To Be Done Using AI
Under the Prohealth program, health counselors will perform yearly tests and look after the patients using apps and artificial intelligence. The patient has to pay Rs 15,000 for the 3-year tests, and the maintenance of their health record will be done by the counselors.
The Database Will Be Developed Using AI
The health assessment will be done by the consultation of the doctor, and the database will be developed after performing approximately 20 million checkups at the Apollo hospital. Doctors at the hospital mentioned that patients registered under this program would be asked questions about their health and diseases that will be directly fed into the AI system.
The machine will evaluate the data it was provided and will be able to suggest the number of tests should be done by the doctor who will further validate it to do the same. Just like fitness-tracking watches, the patients will be provided with digital devices that will record their pulse rate and physical activities. Well, the program can be proved advantageous as you have to pay once for three years of all the check-ups and tests.
