Whenever he struggled to explain a problem, he would feel light chest twinges. During a particular session, he suffered a heart attack after repeating the same question over and over but to no avail. He started having shortness of breath and intense chest pain before he fainted.

The next day, Liu came to the Third People’s Hospital to report his problem. Here, he started convulsing while foaming at the mouth before fainting again. Fortunately, he was revived by medics who later stabilized his condition.

Liu then went through several examinations that revealed he had a myocardial infarction. This means his main coronary artery was about to be completely blocked, preventing the blood from flowing to his heart. According to cardiologist Dr. Gao Hong, intense emotion was what caused Liu’s condition. And in this situation, it was the frustration that he experienced while teaching his son.
