Call Of Duty Mobile Launched For Android And iOS Players

Several months ago, COD Mobile was launched on Android phones under the testing phase for beta members. It was available for a very short span before being taken off. But Tencent Games has now rolled out Call of Duty Mobile to both iOS and Android users with its stable build.

According to its post on social media, the team behind COD announced that the upcoming COD Mobile's stable version came to both iOS and Android platforms at the beginning of this month. You can download the game from the App Store and Google Play Store and it will likely be free. This game comes from the same publisher as PUBG Mobile, Tencent Games.

If you have played Call of Duty Mobile in the closed beta, you will notice many new things even though the game, in general, is similar to PUBG Mobile. This game comes with some of the characteristic COD components from famous past PC titles along with the addition of its own flair to the mix.

What's the difference between COD Mobile and PUBG Mobile?

In essence, COD MOBILE and PUBG MOBILE are very similar to each other. But COD MOBILE has online shooting experience featuring a classic COD-style twist which has previously appeared in the PC version.

You will experience various multiplayer modes. Besides, it gives choices between unranked or ranked matches. There is also a number of classic COD-style missions like Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, Domination, Free for All, Frontline and Hardpoint. Some iconic maps from the PC version like Crash, Hijacked, Crossfire, Killhouse, Firing Range and Standoff are also there for the players.

Like PUBG MOBILE, COD MOBILE has a battle royale mode where 100 players jump altogether in an abandoned map. Then, they fight to be the last player standing and winning. Players can choose to either fight alone against everyone else or go in groups of four.

In battle royale mode, while playing in groups of four, each player is required to select one role for their character. You can be a medic who takes care of the teammates and heal quicker than other players. If you're a mechanic, you can use cool weapons like augmented views, EMP drones and many more. You also have the option to play as a Clown with the power of summoning the zombies to fight against the enemies. On the other hand, the Scout will help the player in knowing the hostile conditions nearby through the use of footprint tracking and Sensor Darts.

In addition, you can get a lot of weapons with professional quality which can then be upgraded to help you fight the enemies better. The upgrade system of weapon in COD Mobile is like that in PUBG Mobile.

COD MOBILE has more improvements in graphics as compared to PUBG MOBILE. The game will offer better quality visual effects as well as textures if played on a premium phone. Plus, it appears that you will get details close to those on the PC version.

The biggest difference between these two games lies in their themes. While PUBG Mobile offers more survival-themed gameplay, COD Mobile is more about its classic military theme in every gameplay mode.
