Bois Locker Room Admin, A Class 12 Student, Arrested By Delhi Cybercrime Unit

The admin of Bois Locker Room, a group chat on Instagram where members discussing raping underage girls have been arrested.

This was the second suspect booked by the cybercrime unit of Delhi Police after screenshots of the group leaked online. The first arrest was a 15-year-old boy who was taken in for questioning.

According to investigators, Bois Locker Room has a total of 22 members and most of them are schoolboys attending reputable schools in Delhi.

On Tuesday, ten members of the groups were questioned over the phone. All devices of the suspects have also been seized and sent for analysis.

Delhi’s cybercrime unit has contacted Instagram asking for more information on Bois Locker Room group and their request is still pending, according to an officer.

The vulgar content of the group chats involves gathering a group of boys and raping a female classmate. They also exchanged photos of underage girls. Pictures of girls shared on Instagram also appeared in the group, accompanied by violent remarks.

The group was exposed after one of the members took screenshots of the chats and send them to another person. Later, one of the girls whose name mentioned in the group posted them on social media.

On Monday, representative of one of the school where the student who exposed the group is attending filed a complaint with the police. An investigator said right after Bois Locker Room was become known by the public, the group had been deleted but another one like it was created. Admins of the new group even invited some girls to join to fool the police.

The investigator also shared that the original group was set up in early April.
