On September 10, Apple uploaded a recap video of its iPhone 11 2019 event on YouTube. And it has got a small surprise for eagle-eyed fans with a secret message hidden in the video.

On September 11, the day after the video was uploaded, Redditor Gcarsk uncovered the message in a post. Cult of Mac reported that the message’s content is revealed after running it through a binary-to-Ascii converter.

In the video, the company hid an Easter egg – a hidden message, for eagle-eyed Apple fans.

In a part where the company mentioned how the iPad, compared to the best-selling PC, is twice as fast.

And then the hidden message flashes briefly. The Easter egg is actually an error screen showing an error code “09102019” which represents the date of the event, Sept 10, 2019.

And then the hidden message flashes briefly.

The screen then reads:

The message looks like Microsoft Blue Screen of Death.

Cult of Mac does point out that the screen looks somewhat like Microsoft’s Blue Screen of Death.

But that’s not everything. There’s a binary code below the message. If you use a binary-to-Ascii converter to translate it, the result is another message which reads: “So you took the time to translate this? We love you."
