Web design can get really annoying. Especially when it’s not your major, you can have lots of troubles with designing a web for your home crafts or startup, no matter what kind of tools you are using. Fortunately, the whole tricky work may get easier with AI.
TeleportHQ is a system with open-source tools for web designers. To clarify, the platform provided necessary tools for designing a website or an app. They have just posted a video which showcases a new method of real-time code generation using TensorFlow, a Google Brain’s open source machine learning framework.
If you find the information above difficult to understand, that’s fine. It’s actually quite amazing. As you can see from the photo, a camera pointed at the board is taking everything the demonstrator is sketching out. He is drawing a wireframe for the website design, indicating text boxes and banners.
The TensoreFlow image recognition system went through a training process so that it can analyze and tell the meaning of each piece drawn. And as the man draws, the system writes up the code to produce the website based on what it sees. Most importantly, what you get from the process is a translation from sketch to code in real time, and you don’t have to even touch the keyboard.
The web design experiment with TensorFlow went on Twitter and holly molly it got some certain reactions from netizen. A user called Damned Suffer shared the video, claiming his mind blown by the technology:
Another Twitter account named Jorge Elvir was so amazed by what he saw that he twitted:
Obviously, what illustrated in the video is just a small piece of the whole puzzle, but sure several designers have things to concern. Eventually, this system can totally revolutionize the way things are done, speed up the work and make it more efficient than it used to be. Today it codes an entire website, who know what it will do tomorrow. Be careful IT guys, it seems like you’re about to lose your job!
