Silicon Valley Is No Longer The Most High-Tech City In the World

Many people may assume that since Silicon Valley is the hub of tech startups, San Francisco must be the most high-tech city in the world. However, it is not necessarily the case.

The number one position is held by Tokyo. This year saw the first time in history this Asian city makes its way to the top. Austin might not have a high ranking, but it is the city that has the most impressive improvement, moving up to number 29. While Austin makes its way up, Barcelona dropped by 17 spots in comparison with last year.
