The Chinese phone maker Xiaomi is all set to launch the Xiaomi Mi 9T smartphones on 12 June. A few days ago, the standard Xiaomi Mi 9T made its appearance on Geekbench, and the listing confirmed that it’s just a rebranded model of the Redmi K20 as the two phones share similar model number and specifications.
Now, just a few days ahead of its launch, the more premium Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also appeared on Geekbench, suggesting that it might be the rebranded Redmi K20 Pro for the global markets. The listing shows that the Xiaomi Mi 9T will likely boot Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 10 and pack 8GB RAM.
As per the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro achieved scores of 3,453 and 10,363 points in the single-core and multi-core tests. In the listing, it has the same code name “raphael” as the Redmi K20 Pro that already made its debut in China last month. It means that the phone will likely come with the same specifications as the Redmi K20 Pro like a Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor and more. Its launch date is very close so we will get more details very soon.
The Mi 9T Pro is said to come with a 6.39-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and notch-free design thanks to the pop-up selfie camera. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor and an Adreno 640 GPU. Software-wise, it will likely ship with Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 10 and Game Turbo 2.0 mode.
In terms of camera, it is said to sport a triple camera system at the back, including a 48MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 13MP secondary snapper with f/2.4 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto unit with f/2.4 aperture. Up front, it will feature a 20MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens. It is also expected to have DC Dimming and Hi-Res Audio features.
