Vivo is about to introduce a new Vivo Z1x variant in the Indian market. Recently, a promotional poster has surfaced online, suggesting that the brand is preparing for the release of an 8GB RAM variant of the handset in India. The phone is expected to be a bit better and more powerful than the 6GB RAM Vivo Z1x. Unfortunately, the details of the phone’s price and the availability in India remain unknown at present. According to the leaks, the phone will also arrive in the offline market. It is surprising as the brand unveiled the Z series for the online market only.

Vivo Z1x: Specifications, Price in India

The 6GB RAM Vivo Z1x, unveiled in the Indian market back in September, is the latest Z-lineup smartphone of the brand. The 6GB RAM variant with the standard 64GB internal storage is priced at Rs. 16,990. Meanwhile, the 128GB internal storage variant will cost Rs. 18,990. The handset is available for two color options including Phantom Purple and Fusion Blue with the gradient rear finish.

Regarding the specs, the phone runs FunTouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie at launch. It flaunts a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a “Flash” on-screen fingerprint sensor and a Halo notch. It is known that the sensor can offer a reading speed of only 0.48 secs. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC, paired with 6GB RAM + 128GB expandable storage.

In terms of imaging capabilities, the phone comes with a triple camera setup on the back including a 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor, an 8MP AI-backed ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shooting. In addition, the phone also has a 32MP front-facing camera for video calling and taking selfies. Powering the phone is a big 4,500 mAh cell with support for the 22.5W fast charging tech.
