Realme X2 Pro Might Be Realme's First Snapdragon 855 Plus-Powered Smartphone

Realme X2 Pro is said to have a 6.55-inch FHD+ display, an on-screen fingerprint sensor, and run ColorOS 6.1 out-of-the-box.

Realme seems to be launching another flagship alleged Realme X2 Pro, according to various leaks. To recall, the brand was the first phone maker to confirm to introduce a device powered by Snapdragon 855+ in July. After months, Wang Wei Derek, Product Director at Realme China has been reported to use the X2 Pro to share a post on Weibo, which creates speculations that the name of the new Realme flagship powered by Snapdragon 855+ could be “Realme X2 Pro”. In addition, in another post on Weibo, the director asked Realme fans to guess the price of a 4G-enabled phone with a Snapdragon 855+ inside. Among his post’s comments, he replied to a comment and revealed that the handset probably costs about CNY4,000 (roughly Rs. 39,700).

Separately, Xu Qi, Realme CMO also confirmed that the phone powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus will come with “Super Samurai” codename and it is arriving soon. Additionally, an unknown Realme handset with a model number of RMX1931 has recently been certificated by Bluetooth SIG. According to the listing, the RMX1931 could come with a Qualcomm octa-core chipset clocked at 2.84GHz, which is the same as the clock speed of the regular Snapdragon 855 chipset. It is slightly confusing as the Snapdragon 855+ has the 2.96GHz clock speed.

In addition, the phone flaunts a 6.55-inch display with Full HD+ resolution, and an on-screen fingerprint sensor. In terms of software, the phone runs ColorOS 6.1 at launch. Additionally, the phone has dual-band Wifi and Bluetooth v5.0. As the device got the Bureau of Indian Standards, the phone is set to be unveiled in the Indian market sometime in December, which is also the launch time of the Realme XT730G phone.
