Redmi K20 Key Specs Revealed In New Leak: 20MP Selfie Camera & Triple Rear Cameras

I guess the news about Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi planning to launch its first ever flagship device is not something so strange. The company is said to launch two variants, dubbed Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. The Redmi K20, which is called ‘Demon King’ by Redmi’s GM, was previously spotted on TENAA with a very impressive benchmark score.

Now, a detailed list that is said to be the specifications of the handset has just appeared on Twitter, giving us a better understanding of the upcoming ‘flagship killer’ from Redmi. The bottom watermark indicates that this sheet was first posted on Weibo.

The sheet suggests that the upcoming Redmi K20 will sport a 6.39-inch FHD+ OLED panel with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and 2,340 x 1,080p resolution. The device is also listed with a 20MP pop-up selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens. On the rear, there will be a triple camera setup, including a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.7 lens and 1.6µm pixels. Other two cameras are 13MP with an f/2.4 lens and an 8MP camera with an f/2.4 lens. We believe that the former is an ultra-wide camera while the latter is a telephoto unit.

Powering the handset is a large 4,000mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging. In line with other rumors, the device will be powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 855 SoC clubbed with an Adreno 640 GPU, and LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 internal storage.

That is pretty much all we can learn from this new leak. We still don’t know whether the device will come with a fingerprint reader embedded under the display or on the rear. With the rumor saying the Redmi K20 is the successor to the Pocophone F1, it might come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner to keep the cost at a more affordable level.

We are expecting the Redmi K20 to come out pretty soon. With Redmi’s massive popularity in the Indian market, we believe that this upcoming smartphone might be the cheapest Snapdragon 855 device to ever come to the country.
