OPPO Is The Third Most Trusted Phone Brand In India

Chinese phone maker OPPO on June 18 announced that it has ranked the 3rd position in the most trusted phone brand in India, as per a Brand Trust Report 2019 report by TRA (Trust Research Advisory) located in Mumbai. Accordingly, OPPO rose by 7 places in the rankings to ensure the 3rd position in this year’s top 10 smartphone brands in the Indian market.

Oppo smartphones have been integrated with top-on-the-line technologies such as full-view display, on-screen fingerprint sensor, fast charging, 10X lossless zoom and motorize camera in the cheap segment. And that have helped the company to retain its position in the rankings, according to the company.

With one of the Hyderabad-based biggest Research and Development center, the company intends to boost its business in the Indian market. In addition, the brand also set up its advanced manufacturing facility in Greater Noida.

Additionally, while Dell has climbed up in the rankings to be the most trusted brand in India, OPPO has also ensured its 28th spot in the report of TRA this year. Recently, the company was recognized as the most favorite innovation smartphone brand in the top-end segment, according to CMR (CyberMedia Research)’s independent study.

Recently, its sub-brand Reno has unveiled two phones including OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Edition and OPPO Reno. To recall, the two phones share some similar specs. Both devices run Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6. In addition, the company also offers Hi-Res and Dolby Atmos support for the Reno lineup. Especially, both come with “Shark-fin” selfie camera.

And while the vanilla OPPO Reno is powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset, the Reno 10x Zoom Edition comes with a Snapdragon 855 SoC. The former features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, while the latter sports a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with the same resolution like the base variant. In term of camera, the Reno 10x Zoom Edition has triple rear cameras including a 48MP sensor, a 13MP sensor and an 8MP sensor. Meanwhile, the base Reno phone comes with dual cameras with a 48MP sensor and a 5MP sensor. Currently, the standard Reno is priced at Rs.32,990 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Reno 10x Zoom Edition is available in 2 storage options including 6GB RAM + 128GB storage (Rs.39,990), and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage (Rs.49,990).
