New Oppo Reno Series Tipped To Launch This Month

A new Oppo Reno series is likely to be introduced sometime this month with the expected price of Rs. 35,000.

Chinese phone maker OPPO unveiled its OPPO Reno and OPPO Reno 10X Zoom in the Indian market in May. Recently, as per a report from The Mobile Indian, the brand was said to be planning to add another model in the Reno lineup in the country in late 2019.

According to the report, the upcoming device will be unveiled in India with the starting price of Rs. 35,000. However, another report from IANS states that the phone will cost about Rs. 40,000 and will debut around the Diwali festival taking place at the end of October.

So far, there has been no further information about this third device in the Reno series. Therefore, we should stay tuned for more news in the coming time.

As mentioned above, the brand introduced the OPPO Reno and Reno 10X Zoom in India in May. The Reno 10X Zoom costs Rs. 39,990 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant, and Rs. 49,990 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Meanwhile, the vanilla Reno is available in single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant with the price of Rs. 32,990.

The Reno 10X Zoom sports a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The device comes with a Snapdragon 855 chipset with Adreno 640 GPU. Meanwhile, the vanilla Reno phone sport a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with the same aspect ratio. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 710 chipset, paired with Adreno 616 GPU.

In terms of imaging capacities, the Reno 10X Zoom features a triple camera setup on the back including a 48MP primary sensor, a 13MP sensor, and an 8MP sensor. On the front, the device has a 16MP shark-fin pop-up selfie camera. Meanwhile, the Reno phone has a dual rear camera setup including a 48MP main sensor and a 5MP sensor. It also comes with a 16MP pop-up selfie camera like the Reno 10X Zoom model.
