Motorola Edge Photos & Specs Leaked: Waterfall Display & Snapdragon 765

There has been a lot of leaked information about the high-end Motorola Edge+ smartphone, but now it's the first report about the Motorola Edge, which will be announced as a mid-range version of the Edge+.

According to the latest report, Motorola Edge is the watered-down version of the Edge+, which means it will likely have the same design but lower hardware configuration. The device will be equipped with a curved waterfall screen. However, the edge of the device still comes with physical buttons, including a power button and a volume rocker. In addition, other edges of the phone house a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot.

The leaked image also confirms that Motorola Edge will have a 64MP main camera, a 16MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens, but it's unclear how much optical zoom it will support.

On the back, in addition to the triple cameras, there are an additional laser focus module and the familiar Motorola logo but it won’t be mounted with a fingerprint reader this time. Instead, the handset will have a fingerprint scanner hidden under the screen.

On the front, the device will feature a 25 MP selfie camera, which is housed in a punch-hole at the upper left corner. As for the screen, it's a 6.4-inch Full HD + OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen will have three modes for users to customize: 60Hz, 90Hz, and auto mode. In auto mode, the screen adjusts its refresh rate depending on what users are using.

Under the hood, the device will use Snapdragon 765 chipset, 6 GB RAM, but it won’t support 5G connectivity. Fueling the phone will be a 4,500 mAh battery with no wireless charging support.

As for the high-end Motorola Edge+, it is believed to use Snapdragon 865 chipset, up to 12GB oF RAM, 5,170 mAh battery, 108 MP main camera, and 5G connectivity.
