Huawei Mate 30 Pro’s new leaks show wide notched display, large edge curves, slim bezels over its predecessor, and 3D Depth Sensing system.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro’s display could be among the most unique design choices in the mobile industry in 2019. Previously, a display panel leak appeared online, suggesting the screen edge curve of Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be expanded in comparison with its predecessors. Now another leaked front panel has been posted, which reveals everything about this phone’s front-facing side.

The photos are posted by DigitalChatStation tipster claiming that the Mate 30 Pro’s display panel has a wide notch, hugged edge curves on right and left sides, slim bezels over its predecessor, and 3D Depth Sensing system. Furthermore, the photo shows that the upcoming flagship will feature an optical fingerprint scanner.

As per a new report, the phone’s expanded bezels will play an important role in the new unibody design. However, there is no official announcement about this information.

For further information, in terms of the SIM functionality, Huawei probably goes for eSIM choice though that could limit its users in some markets where e-SIM tech hasn’t been popular. As for the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 Pro’s specifications, the phone is tipped to sport a big 6.71-inch OLED display with a notch at its top which houses the sensors for 3D facial recognition feature. In addition, the display will also have an on-screen fingerprint sensor like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Under the hood, this upcoming flagship will apparently be powered by a next-gen 7nm Kirin 985 chipset alongside a Balong 5000 5G modem for 5G connectivity.

Regarding the release date, Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G could be unveiled in December while the regular model probably arrives much earlier.
