The Honor V30 Pro will support 5G connectivity, two selfie sensors, an OLED display, and a 4,200mAh battery with 40W fast charging technology.

Honor will launch the Honor V30 flagship which can even take on the likes of the Huawei Mate 30. Several promo images of the phone have appeared on Weibo, which shows a square rear camera setup similar to the one of the Huawei Mate 20.

The brand will introduce two variants including the V30 Pro and regular V30. On the front, both models feature a hole-punch design to house the selfie shooter. The Pro variant, in fact, will come with 2 punch holes in the OLED display while the regular V30 will sport a single camera on the front of the LCD display.

Interestingly, the phone will have a 60MP primary sensor instead of a 64MP sensor. We have not seen such a sensor like this before. This is similar to the case of Huawei flagships that use a 40MP sensor instead of the 48MP lenses like other smartphones in the market.

Another plus point of Honor V30 Pro variant is its quad rear camera setup while the regular variant will feature triple rear cameras. So far, the details of each sensor functionality remain unknown.

Two models in the Honor V30 series will come with Kirin 990 flagship SoC. Notably, the Pro variant will be powered by a Kirin 990 5G under the hood. To recall, in addition to the 5G network, the SoC is built on the 7nm+ EUV process and has an additional NPU score and higher clock speeds.

The Honor V30 Pro will be packed with a 4,200mAh battery with the support for 40W SuperCharge fast charging tech, along with the 15W wireless charging. Meanwhile, the regular V30 will have a 4,000mAh battery and the 22.5W SuperCharge charging tech without wireless charging tech.

As per the previous leaks, two new variants are set to debut this month, along with new-gen Honor Watch Magic.
