Along with two regular Google Pixel 4 smartphones, Google will launch another variant with 5G connectivity, alleged Pixel 4 5G this year.
Google is set to launch the Pixel 4 next week and almost specs of the phone have already surfaced online. However, as per the latest Korean publication, the company probably surprises the smartphone market with the launch of a 5G variant, along with two regular 4G variants. This is quite surprising since Apple decided not to launch the iPhone with 5G support this year. However, this could bring more customers to Google as many people are seeking a trusted 5G phone in the European market. It is known that Google isn’t the first one to launch an Android phone with 5G connectivity.
As per a Nikkei report, the giant “has begun test production of a 5G smartphone that it may unveil as soon as next week.” While the regular Pixel phones are in mass production, its 5G variant is still under the test production. This probably means that the phone’s availability might be available later. Additionally, the report revealed that Google is also working on a Pixel smartwatch and a Pixel laptop.
Furthermore, according to the new report of Mobile Fun, the Google Pixel 4 will come in four additional color options including “Really Yellow”, “Slightly Green”, “Sky Blue” and “Maybe Pink”. These could come with two basic Black and White options. So the phones could totally have 6 color options.
Regarding the pricing of the phone shared by Evan Blass, the phone will be pricier than the 3. The vanilla variant could cost US$1,050 compared to the price tag of US$1,000 of the 3. According to the previous rumours, the phone could feature a new image processing chip, alleged Pixel Neural Core and new Dual Exposure. The mode will let a user control the shadows and highlights separately. Finally, to remind, the phone will be arriving on 15 October.
