According to a recent report released by IDC, OnePlus just became ‘the most preferred premium Android smartphone brand.’

OnePlus just became ‘the most preferred premium Android smartphone brand,’ according to a recent report released by IDC. Moreover, the firm has taken the second spot in the top brands ranked by customer loyalty as 31 percent of its total customer choose to stick with the brand, as stated in the report. This doesn't come as a surprise since up to 90 percent of the buyers who have purchased devices from the brand revealed that their number one choice is OnePlus.
Even when regarding segment of high-end smartphones, the Chinese smartphone maker also accounted for 21% of customers shifting from Apple.
According to the survey, when customers were asked about their reasons for choosing OnePlus instead of other devices, the majority of respondents answered that they trust the brand and OnePlus can offer them the latest specifications. Specifically, customers who wanted to try a new brand accounted for 23% while 17% of buyers said that they would like to experience a bunch of new features. Also, 12% of respondents said that they wanted to try the OxygenOS system.

Recently, OnePlus did a collaboration with McLaren - the UK supercar-maker to release the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition at the launching event in India. The retail price is going to be Rs 50,999 for the 10GB/256GB variant. The smartphone will only be sold on the website of Amazon India. The phone's body is made of glass and has the Papaya Orange trim at the bottom back edge.
Additionally, the device is made with carbon fiber technology from McLaren. Another attractive characteristic of this edition is the McLaren logo at the back of the handset. The McLaren Edition is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core SoC processor and will offer an impressive Warp Charge 30.
