Xiaomi: Mijia Smart Rice Cooker and Mijia Induction Cooker will help you to make healthy food.

As per some recent announcements, Xiaomi will launch several non-smartphone devices in India. Xiaomi seems to work on another product line in the second populous country in the world due to the increase of demand day by day. The latest teaser on Twitter unveils that at least 2 smart cooker ranges would go on sale for the Indian market. However, Xiaomi has not given any information about the launching date as well as the prices of those stoves.

The teaser video on Twitter consists of two products, the  Induction Cooker and Smart Rice Cooker. Manu Kumar, Global VP of Xiaomi, reveals that both of them will soon hit the market. Appearing in the introduction, Xiaomi cooking ranges is said to help people to make burgers, pizzas, pasta, biryani in a healthy way. This carries a company’s message of supporting consumers to have a healthy life.

According to Xiaomi website, both products are already available in China. The Mija Rice Cooker has a price tag of CNY 599 (approximately Rs 6,100) and features a display system showing the status of cooking along with other details like temperature and pressure. Users can easily control it through an app to track the process and have their own adjustment precisely.

On the other hand, the Induction Cooker is available in two variants. A Lite variant is priced at CNY 199 and the base variant is priced at CNY 299. Unfortunately, it doesn’t feature them. While a couple of Induction Cooker accessories are available and start at CNY 99 (Rs 1,000), but it’s still unclear about if they would come to India or not.
