On Thursday, Sony released a 40th anniversary Walkman at Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) 2019, which brings about the nostalgia from the cassette era. The newly launched Walkman for 40th anniversary features packaging, logos, as well as a soft casing inspired by the first portable cassette player from Sony.

Is sports an HD screen measuring 3.6 inches, featuring 26 hours of battery life and USB-C charging. In addition, the device comes alongside access to the Walkman store so you can listen to more songs. The company said about the product:

The price of this anniversary offering remains unknown, except for Australia, where it will come out in December 2019 at Rs 29,325 (AU$599).

The company released its first Walkman back in 1979, which was a portable cassette player, it changed people’s listening habits forever by letting them listen to their favorite songs on the move.
