Huawei Launched FreeBuds 2 Pro Wireless Earbuds With Wireless Charging, Bone Voice ID

Ever since Apple launched its AirPods, the wireless earbuds market has seen a lot of similar pairs following the Apple wireless earbuds. The latest products come from the Chinese company Huawei called FreeBuds 2 Pro with wireless charging support. The wireless earbuds have already been released in the Chinese market. Priced at 999 CNY (around Rs. 10,400), you can buy it in Tmall, Vmall, JD.com, and Sunning.com. Huawei has not yet revealed whether it will launch the FreeBuds 2 Pro in the Indian market.

The FreeBuds 2 Pro features a similar with the AirPods, and it also supports Bluetooth 5.0. The wireless earbuds pack a charging case. With a single charge, the Huawei earbuds are claimed to last for up to 2.5 hours with the packed wireless case that provides an extra 15 hours.

Its charging case has support for wireless charging. And the latest Huawei flagship, the Mate 20 Pro, can charge the earbuds wirelessly if you enable the reverse charging option on the handset. There are a total of 4 microphones in the earbuds ( 2 in each earbud), to reduce the ambient noise. Huawei stated that this FreeBuds 2 Pro had been tested very strictly and reliably with the headphones good for 10,000 unplugs/plus in its case, and its function key good for 10,000 presses.

The earbuds' dimensions are 43mmx18.6mmx16.5mm and the dimensions of its charging box are 50.5mmx45mmx24.5mm. As for the weight, each earbud weighs 4.1g. The FreeBuds 2 PRo is IP54 rated which means that it's both splash and dust resistant.

The most notable unique selling point of this new earbud is its ability to match up the bone sound pattern of people speaking into them by using bone conductivity. That will allow the earbuds to identify who is speaking into them accurately. And with that, the FreeBuds 2 Pro owners can make payments on AliPay and WeChat Pay without unlocking the device. With the technology, users can also access the voice assistant.
