AirPods Pro 2 Is Believed To Arrive In First Half Of 2021

Apple will reportedly launch the AirPods Pro 2 in the first half of 2021, confirming a rumor that the earpods will be released in April.

According to Digitimes, a source familiar with the matter said AirPods Pro 2 would make it the market in the first half of this year.

The report also mentions Winbond – a flash memory supplier bases in Taiwan expected to be one of the suppliers of NOR flash for the upcoming AirPods Pro 2. However, the main takeaway here is the time frame when the earpods will be released.

Since Mac Otakara also said the same thing – Apple would launch the earpods along with iPhone SE 3 in April 2021, we have reason to believe that these rumors are true.

AirPods Pro 2: What We Know So Far

As stated by Mac Otakara, the new AirPods Pro will have a smaller case, measuring 46mm in height, 54mm in width, and 21mm in thickness.

It is believed that AirPods 3 will also make it out this year. The earpods are said to feature silicon ear tips, longer battery life, and shorter ear stems. While the two models will share a similar design, the non-Pro variant will not have noise cancellation.

Bloomberg reveals something rather more peculiar. It said the AirPods Pro 2 will not have stems but a round shape like the Galaxy Buds from Samsung. Apart from that, we have heard nothing else about the design.
