Two Kids Were Reported Missing After Stealing Their Parents' Car To Visit Grandfather

One of the kids is 12 years old while the other is 7 years old, both of whom were reported missing on Monday morning following their parent’s acknowledgment. However, just a few hours later, the kids were both found safe along the New Jersey – Delaware border.

Going from Ozone Park, the police were able to locate the kids after one of them attempted to use a family credit card when they arrived at a rest stop, reported News 4. They added that the older kid was driving.

Fortunately, the kids were safe after driving all the way to New Jersey, they successfully drove through Staten Island before getting caught. After getting to New Jersey, the kids drove through the New Jersey Turnpike and to Delaware. They even managed to drive over the bridge, pass a toll plaza but were not stopped for questioning. It appeared that no one noticed those tiny drivers.

Now, it’s been reported that the Range rover that the two kids took for a drive is safely parked outside of their house. But none of their parents has responded to an interview with the news outlet. According to a neighbor, though, the 12-year-old is well-behaved, saying:

“He's a good boy actually, we just thank God they safely got back.”
