Posting TikTok Video In Uniform, An UP Police Officer May Face A Strict Discipline

Many have got addicted to TikTok because the short-video sharing app from China offers a countless number of attractive videos according to various topics from music, celebrities, to society or more.

However, TikTok addiction is also one of the major reasons that make many users face trouble, especially when they post videos on duty. They may include doctors, nurses and even cops.

The UP police officer, in this case, is such a typical example. He posted a TikTok video while still wearing his uniform and unluckily, his seniors didn’t feel happy about it.

His name is Mohammad Arif. At the PGI Police Station, the subinspector showed himself in the video and said that:

In the next video, he expressed his opinion that both enmity and friendship of cops are not good. More notably, he was sitting in a chair with a service revolver (on the table) behind him.

According to a senior police officer from Lucknow Kalanidhi Naithani:

Before this case, a Gujarat female police officer received a suspended sentence after she recorded a dance video inside a police station and shared it on TikTok.

In another video, a recruit of the Lok Rakshak Dal named Arpita Chaudhary was flaunting her dance in front of a cage of the police station in Langhnaj, Mehsana. According to the Deputy Superintendent, she joined the LRD three years ago (2016) and began to work in Mehsana last year (2018).

Two other female constables in the Delhi Police also got a discipline when posting their videos of singing at a VVIP location and of course, they were on duty at that time.
