With the development of technology, people are expecting better automation so that they can live in the house completely by themselves, with the most pricey robot vacuum capable of self-emptying. However, even the most advanced vacuum cannot climb upstairs and downstairs, restricting the area it can cover inside a house. Do you sometimes wish your vacuum could fly like a drone?

To overcome that problem, a YouTuber named Peter Sripol came up with a hack that no companies have offered. This Youtuber is known for making things fly, which is not meant to fly, with this amateur hacks. He has taken several things to the air such as gaming chairs, power drills, and leaf blowers.
This time, Sripol gave a vacuum he bought on Amazon for under Rs 7,000 the ability to fly. This device comes out of the box with edge detection and obstacle avoidance features that enable it to navigate floors as well as avoid nasty tumbles. However, once it’s turned into a drone, the vacuum has reached a whole new level, or at least, a higher floor.
All he used was a block of batteries, a few electronics, and ducted fans, which he attached to the vacuum so that it can move effortlessly from a level to a higher or lower one like a drone. Another additional feature is that the ducted fans double as dust blaster as the drone-vacuum flies over the floor.
However, this upgrade has certain downsides. Regarding aesthetics, a bunch of wires and components attached to the vacuum doesn’t look good at all, and it’s not autonomous anymore. Whoever uses this upgraded vacuum will have to wirelessly control the device, guiding it from floor to floor. And it isn’t cheap either, the fans bought from Amazon are twice the cost of the vacuum itself, not to mention the cost of the batteries, electronics, and the remote.
But having the flying vacuum is so cool, isn’t it? And there’s no denying that if this capability does come to real life, our vacuums will be so much more helpful inside the house. Flying a drone is used to be prohibited in India but the rules have been changed starting from December 2018. That’s why you can now start investing in drone cameras and take breathtaking shots and shooting awesome videos. Here’s drone camera price in India.
