Serious Flaw In Tesla's 'Dog Mode' Has Been Fixed

A Tesla owner recently found a flaw in Tesla's 'Dog Mode' that can be dangerous for the pets. As of now, the company has rolled out a fix.

Tesla has been at the forefront of electrical automobile industry recently in term of technological advancements, innovations, and improvements. The company has constantly released more new features than any other automobile companies just in the span of a couple of months.

'Dog Mode'

One of the features that the company has unveiled is Dog Mode - made in response to the dilemma of the driver having to bring their dogs along with them on drives, then had to leave momentarily. When this mode is enabled, the computer on-board automatically set the car to Park and leaves the air-conditioning on. This will prevent the car from overheating and becoming suffocating to the dogs left inside, which is not at all a rare problem.

The large touch-screen that acts as the dashboard of the car would even display the cartoonish drawing of a dog, as well as the temperature within the car so that passerby would know that the dogs are completely safe.

He mentioned that Dog Mode only works in auto, so if the driver sets the fan speed (Which he did), the AC automatically turned off.

As always, Musk rapidly responded to the tweet, ensuring him that the company is working on the issue. At this moment in time, it’s best that while you’re running errands, you don’t bring your pets at all, or make sure that you don’t touch the fan speed control when you enable 'Dog Mode'.
