PewDiePie Is No Longer The King Of YouTube ‘Cause Now Is The Time Of T-Series

Felix Kjellberg, known as PewDiePie, who used to own the biggest amount of subscribers on YouTube, finally lost his crown after a series of his unsuccessful efforts to beat T-Series from India. This story seems to be unreal but it turned out the truth. On March 17, PewDiePie didn’t just have to accept the second position, but his rivalry also won with the relatively safe distance.

T-Series is a company that specializes in producing Bollywood films, releasing brisk music videos. The potential challenger suddenly came to YouTube in summer 2018. After the initial period as an unknown YouTube channel from India, it has rapidly become more popular when Indian people’s demands on watching Bollywood movies as listening to music are getting bigger and bigger. As per the total of views, T-Series gained the absolute champion with up to 6 billion views, which is three times as much as PewDiePie’s ones.

The morning of March 18 would be the moment in history towards both PewDiePie and T-Series when one lost his crown and one became the king of YouTube with the massive subscribers.

Both these channels own approximately 9 crores subscribers; however, in the end, the distance between T-Series and PewDiePie was determined as 50,000 subscribers.

In spite of PewDiePie’s efforts on calling for his fans and other YouTube users to support his channel on Twitter, it’s his destiny.

The Swedish YouTuber’s success derived from the support of a series of renowned names such as Elon Musk, Jacksepticeye, Mr Beast and Markiplier. In addition, he also focuses on live streaming many famous games like Fortnite, Minecraft, or even going live on Roblox.

Last week, the Christchurch massacre in New Zealand occurred and seemingly put an end to PewDiePie’s unbeaten record when the gunman shouted “subscribe to PewDiePie” during his attack. As per PewDiePie, he posted a tweet saying that the YouTuber felt "absolutely sickened having my name uttered by this person."
