A famous plant-based meal subscription service in the UK is offering meat-eaters in the country a chance to receive £50,000 (around $68,000) if they go vegan for three months.

Vibrant Vegan announced that it was looking for a Vegan Curious Coordinator, an enthusiastic meat-eater who would be willing to become a vegan for a minimum of three months. The chosen one will need to sign a contract and pledge to not have any animal-based products during the trial. At the same time, the person will have to share their experience on social media to encourage other people to try veganism. If they manage to follow the agreement, they will receive a payment of £50,000 ($68,000).

Vibrant Vegan got its idea for Vegan Curious Coordinator through a survey in which it interviewed 15,000 meat-eaters. Surprisingly, 34% of them admitted that they were “vegan-curious.”

For a life-long meat-eater, it would be tough to switch to a vegan diet. That is why the company decides to give the chosen one a generous amount of money. Not only that, the coordinator will have a nutritionist on-hand as well as receiving unlimited vegan meals to make sure that the new diet will give them all the nutrients that they need.

After the period ends, the selected coordinator will be asked if they want to stay vegan for 2021. If yes, Vibrant Vegan will give them £100,000 worth of vegan meals. The condition is that they need to prove their pledge with a food diary and social media posts.

The coordinator will have a nutritionist on-hand as well as receiving unlimited vegan meals.

Vibrant Vegan will announce the coordinator on January 25. Their three-month trial will start on February 1st.
