Although they have only been around for about 20 years thanks to the smartphone boom, apps like Facebook, YouTube, and Spotify are now so popular that anyone can recognize their logos at a glance.

How would these applications look like if they existed in the 80s when technology wasn’t as advanced as it is now?

28-year-old graphic designer Luli Kibudi from Argentina is here to give you the answers through his project called Once Upon A Time. She gave the most popular apps today an ancient retro style, which is quite suitable for the 80s.

You can't forget the image of the cassette when you think about retro style. And it is surely a suitable image for the famous music streaming platform Spotify.

Watching YouTube on a smart TV is now too simple, but it is impossible on a black and white TV.
