A recent tweet on Elon Musk’s Twitter account surprised more than 35 million followers because he decided to temporarily leave his favorite social media platform "for a while". The tweet was quite short with no further explanation for the reasons or when he will be back provided.

For some people, this temporary break of the famous billionaire can be the accumulated result throughout a long time. People not only hear about Elon Musk as the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla but an influencer whose Twitter posts often provoke controversy. So, perhaps he has picked up some pieces of advice or has made his own decision to be distant from the site amid a chaotic and unstable situation originated from the shocking police-custody death of a black person namely Geroge Floyd in Minneapolis last week.

However, he is never known as a person who will run away from controversy. Maybe the matter is just simple that he only wants to take a rest after an intense course of activity several weeks ago.
Musk nearly made headlines when he publically argued with the authorities over his Tesla factory’s reopening after the national lockdown and the critical mission of SpaceX that was the first astronaut launch in the Crew Dragon spacecraft.

The SpaceX CEO second-to-last post was a retweet from NASA regarding the recent Crew Dragon trip to the International Space Station. Before his post on Monday, another personal tweet was publicized to inform that the Crew Dragon had successfully arrived in the space station.
In terms of response to Musk’s announcement, there is a diverse pool of emotion can be noticed. Some wished him a nice break, while others could not describe how they were so delighted with his decision.
