Drunk Men Leave The Tesla On Autopilot While They Keep Drinking At The Back

A group of men decided to continue drinking and singing in a moving car, let the Autopilot mode of their Tesla Model S drive on its own.

In most cases, it’s fun to do stuff that attracts attention on social media, but sometimes it goes too far. In a recent incident, a group of men decided to continue drinking and singing in a moving car and let the Autopilot mode of their Tesla Model S drive on its own.

They even posted the video on TikTok, accidentally providing evidence of their irresponsible actions and crimes. The video is proof that the men committed drunk driving as well as having open fluid containers in the car.

The Drive reported that the group, singing to a Justin Bieber song, was going at 104 kilometers per hour down a highway with the driver seat left completely empty while the Autopilot was guiding the car.

Media outlets used different words to call these boys, but none of them are good words, like idiots and morons. They also explained how the Autopilot isn’t designed to be left 100% on its own even though Elon Musk has been trying to make the software entirely autonomous.

Even on the Autopilot mode, the Tesla Model S requires a human driver behind the wheel

The Autopilot on a Tesla still requires a human driver to avoid accidents. In fact, even when there is an actual driver behind the wheel, autopiloted Tesla cars have been seen in crashes that resulted in at least four deaths.

Unfortunately, the clip of these irresponsible young men may still be circulating on TikTok, getting more likes and views from social media users. Let’s hope that users will be well aware of this wrong action and won’t make the same deadly mistake.
