Breakfast Is Not The Most Important Meal Of The Day, Study Finds

The latest research shows that breakfast is not the most important meal, and for those who are eating weight loss it is not a problem if you skip breakfast.
According to previous studies, breakfast is extremely important for people, especially those who want to lose weight. They think that eating a big this meal will curb appetite throughout the day and help us eat less in the other meals of the day. But according to the latest publication of the medical journal - BMJ, they proved the opposite.
A group of researchers from Monash University in Australia conducted 13 trials and they showed that eating the "most important meal of the day" as it has been handed down so far will not help people control their weight. Researchers claim that this meal can lead to eating even more throughout the day. The study of BMJ also showed that metabolism is not different between people who do not eat breakfast and those who eat breakfast adequately.
So why do people keep saying it's the most important meal of the day?
Actually, the companies producing cereals in the US are the place to start this. In 2003, there was a published study that giving up the first meal of the day did not provide a good benefit for weight control and advised people to eat a full breakfast. Kellogg, who is a grain producer known for products like Corn Flakes, Chocos, and Frosties, has paid for that research to make more people interested in the first meal of the day and many will choose Choose cereals to save your breakfast time.
The Kellogg-funded study also said that eating a quick bread or cereal in the morning will produce a body index much lower than eating a full breakfast with milk or meat or even not have breakfast.
Besides, there was another study in 2014 proving that skipping breakfast will actually reduce weight but increase cholesterol in the body. It is worth mentioning that this research is funded by Quaker Oats. A researcher on human nutrition - Marion Nestle, said that most studies so far claiming that people who eat breakfast regularly will be healthier and able to control weight, do business on this belief.
This is passed on to generations through cereal companies like Kellogg in order to increase the number of investors at their breakfast and this helps them have more customers.
Maybe this latest study will help many individuals feel less worried about their health every time they can't arrange the time for breakfast. But you must understand that this study does not say that eating this meal is bad. Clearly, bread and cereal are not the ideal food to eat in the morning, instead, food with a bit of protein or fruit will be more suitable for your empty stomach in the morning. It's best not to eat too early when you're not hungry enough.
