It’s common to see famous things being copied. It can be a pair of chunky Balenciagas or a famous Louis Vuitton bag. This time, the thing that is being copied is the world’s most famous vehicle, the Cybertruck from Tesla.
It has been around 1 month since the launch of the Cybertruck. Even though the vehicle hasn’t been put on the market just yet, it has gained quite a lot of attention for its appearance. That’s why people have started making replicas of it.
A miniature replica of the Cybertruck from Tesla was recently caught on camera on the streets of Moscow.
Watching the video, it is quite difficult to distinguish the knock-off version from the original one.
Apparently, the replica was made by “Pushka Garazh,” a YouTube channel. It was made using an old Soviet car, the Samara model from Lada to be exact.
In an interview, the builders said that the car runs on gasoline. But it might be possible that they would build an electrical version in the future so that it would look and operate more like the original Cybertruck.
Although Tesla hasn’t put the vehicle on the market yet, the vehicle has been spotted a few times on the streets. Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, was one of the few people caught driving the Cybertruck. But it seems like the replica one wants to steal the light from the original one.
Untile the Cybertruck is released on the market, we can enjoy its fake versions. It seems like for Russians, intellectual property isn’t important. So who knows, we might see more replicas of the vehicle coming in the future.
