For those who believe that earning money via Bitcoin mining is so easy, life may not be as your dream. The case of a principal in China’s Hunan Province will be a typical example for you.
With the potential profit, Bitcoin mining always has a great attraction. That’s why many people are looking for applicable ways to earn money from it. The first thing players need to do is pouring money into high-end processing hardware although the monthly electricity bill they have to pay is not modest at all.
Instead of making use of their own resources, some choose to cheat. This case occurred to the principal who used to work at a school in Hunan Province, China. The school was Puman Middle School. According to a report, Lei Hua abused the school’s free electricity to mine Crypto-currency. As a result, he got the sack when everything came to light.
You must be surprised when knowing that Hua even took his Bitcoin rig to the school, of course, to facilitate mining Bitcoin.
In the beginning, he just used a single machine at the price of $1.500 (about Rs 108.985,01) to mine Ethereum. And then, everything is not enough for him. He made an impudent decision: He added 7 rigs to serve for his mining bitcoins. What made the case more interesting is the participation of his vice-principal after that.
These two leaders even had the intention to set up the ninth rig in the school. However, they forgot to consider an important problem: that is the amount of power required to run all of the Bitcoin rigs. The abnormal electricity bill made an employee in the school complain and Hua lied that the air conditioning and heaters are the chief culprits. It’s a pity that the slowdown on the network revealed his misconduct.
When an investigation was made, the school had to pay the electricity bill for over $2,100 (about Rs 1.5Lakh). The result Hua and his accomplice got was completely worth it.
