The World Wide Web was what has changed history and brought people around the world closer. The World Wide Web was invented in 1989 by Sir Tim Berness-Lee. With this invention, the CERN computer scientist’s aim was to create a new method of sharing information that was much better and more effective.
Lee has always known that the rapidly developing Internet helped connect millions of computers. That was when the British scientist noticed that he could utilize hypertext-an emerging technology to share information.
By 1990, the web’s three founding technologies including HTML, HTTP, and URI had been successfully written by Lee. He then continued writing the first browser. The first webpage was introduced by the end of 1990. In 1991, people who are from Lee’s CERN community started to join this new community.
