Answers:

1.  No, there is none.

Explanation: 7 is the only prime followed by a cube.

Assume that n3-1 is a prime for some n.

N3-1 will be equal to (n−1)(n2+n+1)

Now, n-1 divides n3-1.

If n-1>1, then we will have a contradiction to n3-1 being a prime.

2.  Two. The outside and the inside.

3.  The answer is 1, 2, and 3.

4. There are 47 cards.

5. $105

6. The number is 499849, which means only the 1 & 2 statements are true.

Explanation: 7,072 = 4,99,849

4,99,849 < 5,00,000

7. Do you want to hear about my problems?

8. The first buyer purchases 12 dozen oranges at $1 per dozen. 9. $18 ($4.50 per leg)

10. 3 tickets (the grandmother is also a mother and the mother is also a daughter)

11. You can use a cowculator.

12. He left $12,000. One half plus one quarter plus one-sixth equals eleven-twelfths. So, the remainder, $1,000, is one-twelfth of the whole, which must have been $12,000.

14. Two dozen. If you increase both the number of hens and the amount of time available four-fold, the number of eggs increases 16 times. 16 x 1.5 = 24
