Maths can be an interesting subject and there are also a lot of activities and games that you can play with maths and riddles are one of the most fun ones. Let’s multiply your fun with easy & hard maths riddles. There are not a lot of things that are better to exercise your brain than maths and riddles. We have mixed both math riddles for kids and adults in these 20 riddles. Let’s see if you can figure all of them or not. The anwsers to all riddles will be listed at the bottom of this article.
1. The number '7' is the prime followed by a cube. Can you find any other number that shares the same quality?
2. How many sides does a circle have?
3. You know 2 x 2 has the same sum as 2 + 2. Now find a set of three different whole numbers whose sum is equal to their total when multiplied.
4. A small number of cards have been lost from a complete pack. If I deal among four people, three cards remain. If I deal among three people, two remain and if I deal among five people, two cards remain. How many cards are there?
5. A smartphone case and smartphone cost $110 in total. The smartphone costs $100 more than the smartphone case. How much was the smartphone?
6. A 6-digit number whose sum of its digits is 43.
Two of the three statements below about that number are accurate:

(2) it is a square number.

One summer, after harvesting his oranges, he called his three daughters together. “Here are 150 oranges,” he said. “I want you to take them to the market tomorrow and sell them for me.” He gave Marie 15 apples, Claire 50, and Emma 85. “Your job,” added Mr. David, “is to sell the apples in such a way that each of you brings home the same amount of money.” How do they do it?

16. The total cost of a new pair of sunglasses and a new pair of headphones is $140. The sunglasses cost $100 more than the headphones. How much do the sunglasses cost?
17. How far can a cat run into the woods?
18. One is to three as three is to five and five is to four and four is the magic number.
What is the pattern?
19. If you are 8 feet away from a door and with each move you advance half the distance to the door. How many moves will it take to reach the door?
20. My twin lives at the reverse of my house number. The difference between our house numbers ends in two. What are the lowest possible numbers for our house?
Answers:
1. No, there is none.
Explanation: 7 is the only prime followed by a cube.
Assume that n3-1 is a prime for some n.
N3-1 will be equal to (n−1)(n2+n+1)
Now, n-1 divides n3-1.
If n-1>1, then we will have a contradiction to n3-1 being a prime.
