Family Refused To Buy Expensive PUBG Smartphones, 18-Year-Old Boy Committed Suicide

An 18-year-old boy in Mumbai recently ended his life because his family refused to buy an expensive smartphone for him to play PUBG Mobile.

The past few years have been the most successful time of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile and Fornite as they have gained a lot of players around the world and received positive feedback. The royale battle game is currently one of the hottest game genres today, especially to mobile gamers. PUBG Mobile alone has been the most concerned problem in India for many different reasons. When there are more young people join games and spend more time playing games, it may negatively affect their studies as well as their social well-being. This issue is even more alarming when an 18-year-old boy in Mumbai recently ended his life because his family refused to buy an expensive smartphone for him to play PUBG Mobile.

PUBG Mobile has attracted many players around the world and also has a lot of negative effects on some people

The police are still studying more about the cause of the boy's suicide, however, there has been a lot of reliable information that the family did not meet his requirements and that led to the cause. The boy from Kurla was limited to spend only Rs. 20,000 while he asked to buy a high-end smartphone for Rs. 37,000. After being rejected by the family, the boy was depressed and committed suicide at his home.

While the game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile has been very successful in bringing joy and entertainment to everyone, but its negative effects recently on some gamers in India that makes individuals must review its existence in this country. Typically, Gujarat state in India has issued an official announcement about banning playing this game at schools in the region. Besides, in Maharashtra, an 11-year-old boy wrote his own petition to the government asking to consider about online abuse and violence on PUBG Mobile and expressed his desire for a ban on this game. The game currently has 200 million players and receives the best game award in 2018 on Google Play.
