Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Passed Though TENAA & EEC; Tipped To Launch In Early February

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro with the model number M2001J2E has been spotted on TENAA & the EEC and will likely be released in early next month.

In November last year, two Xiaomi smartphones with model number M2001J1E/C and M2001J2E/C passed through China’s 3C authority. They were speculated to be the next Xiaomi Mi flagship, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. Now, after nearly two months, the M2001J2E smartphone has passed through China’s TENAA database and a model of the same smartphone has also been spotted on the EEC’s database in Russia. It suggests that the Xiaomi Mi 10 series will also make their way to Europe. According to a reliable Chinese tipster, the Xiaomi Mi 10 will be officially introduced in early next month.

The listing of the Xiaomi M2001J2E on TENAA doesn’t give us any details regarding its hardware specs. However, its appearance might suggest that the company could release the phone in the near future. We believe that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro’s TENAA listing might get updated with full specs and photos in the next couple of days.

Here is the listing of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro (model number M2001J2G) on the EEC database. And it also doesn’t provide any details about its specs.

As for the handset’s 3C listing, the Xiaomi M2001J2E/C revealed that the phone could support up to 66W fast charging solution. Meanwhile, the 3C listing of the Xiaomi M2001J1E/C suggested that it might come with support for 30W fast charging technology. The Mi2001J1E/C, on the other hand, hasn’t made its appearance on TENAA yet.

As for the Xiaomi Mi 10 launch date, a well-known tipster suggests that the series could go official early next month, which is in the same time frame as Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event on 11 February. The event will see the launch of the Galaxy S20 series and the clamshell Galaxy Z Flip.

Recently, the company’s Product Manager Wang  Teng Thomas hinted at the pricing and release date of the Mi 10 series. He suggested that the Mi 10 & Mi 10 Pro might be priced around CNY 3,500 (roughly Rs. 36,200) and CNY 5,000 (around Rs. 51,800). He also claimed that the brand would release the Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphones after China’s Spring Festival (25 January).
