Vivo Z1x is the latest addition to the online exclusive Vivo Z series in India. The handset comes with a 48MP primary sensor and an on-screen fingerprint reader. Aside from that, the key specs of the phone including chipset, selfie camera, and triple rear camera setup are the same as the Vivo Z1 Pro that launched earlier in the year. The Vivo Z1x also packs a beefy 4,500 mAh battery, although it is still significantly smaller than that of the Z1 Pro.
Vivo Z1x: Availability & Price
The handset is retailed in India at Rs. 16,990 for the variant with 6GB of RAM / 64GB of storage and Rs. 18,990 for the 6GB of RAM / 128GB of storage option. It will be available for sale from 13 September at 12 p.m on Vivo website and Flipkart.
Users can choose between the Phantom Purple and Fusion blue. Launch offers for the handset include Rs. 1,250 instant discount for HDFC card users, while Reliance Jio users can get benefits worth up to Rs. 6,000.
Vivo Z1x: Specifications
The Vivo Z1x comes with a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a water-drop notch on the top for the selfie camera. For security, it has a “Flash” on-screen fingerprint reader that is claimed by the company to unlock the phone in 0.48 seconds. There is a Snapdragon 712 SoC ticking at its core, aided by 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage.
In terms of camera, the phone is equipped with a triple camera setup at the back, including a 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP snapper for selfies and video chats. For software, it ships with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with Vivo’s FunTouchOS on top. Finally, a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging technology completes the specifications sheet of the device.
