Vivo V1916A Surfaces On Geekbench With Snapdragon 855 And 8GB RAM

Vivo has been leaked its 5G phone with the model number V1916A on several Chinese certification platforms including Geekbench. Thanks to the listing on this benchmark site, several specs of the phone were revealed. Vivo and its sub-brand IQOO will release its flagship phone series in the upcoming weeks. Accordingly, the V1916A will be another 5G phone from the company as the 5G V1924A was recently spotted on the Chinese CCC certification site.

Regarding the listing on Geekbench, the V1916A phone totally gained 3,631 scores in the single-core test and 11,231 scores in the multi-core test. Besides, its motherboard is listed as “msmnile” which indicates Snapdragon 855 SoC or 855 Plus SoC clocked at 1.78 GHz. It can happen as these 2 chipsets are built with 5G connectivity. Additionally, the phone will come with 8GB RAM and run Android 9 Pie at launch. However, in case the company plans to release 2 5G smartphones including the alleged NEX 3 5G and iQOO Pro 5G, one of which will be an iQOO phone. Additionally, it is likely that there is another V1922A phone with the 44W fast charging tech support and no 5G connectivity. And the iQOO 4G variant of the iQOO Pro could be that phone.

The brand has already confirmed the release date of its IQOO Pro 5G and the phone’s specs have been leaked for a while. Accordingly, the phone is set to be unveiled on 22 August. And it is tipped to flaunt a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen that takes inspiration from the base IQOO phone. Additionally, as it is a Pro variant, the brand could offer 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage option. Also, the device will be equipped with the triple rear camera setup and a big 4,000 mAh battery.
