A new Vivo smartphone with model number V1916A was just listed on China's 3C with support for 5G network as well as 44W fast charging solution.

An unknown Vivo smartphone with the model number of VIvo V1916A has just passed through China’s 3C website. The 3C listing suggests that handset will support 5G network and 44W rapid charging at launch. The charger is listed with model number V3030A-CN and that means this charger might be an exclusive product for the Chinese market. We also speculate this phone to be the iQOO 5G. However, the listing on 3C doesn’t give us much information to work with. However, considering the handset already passing through 3C, we expect its launch to be coming soon.

According to previous rumors, the handset might feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a dewdrop notch on top for a selfie camera. Even though the brand hasn’t confirmed, but we expect the handset to be driven by a Snapdragon 855 SoC and a 5G model as well. Paired with the processor might be up to 12GB RAM + 256GB of storage. Under the hood, there will likely be a 4,000 mAh battery to keep the phone running. Software-wise, it should ship with Android 9 Pie with the company’s FunTouch OS on top. The phone is also tipped to sport a triple camera setup on the rear, but the camera details are still under wraps. Sadly, given its 5G support, we doubt that it will make its way to the Indian market anytime soon.

In the meantime, the brand is also reportedly planning to launch the Vivo S1 in India on 15 August. To recall, the handset comes with a 6.38-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel. Powering the phone is an Helio P65 octa-core processor, accompanied by 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. In the imaging department, it comes with triple rear cameras which are a 16MP Sony IMX499 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. As for software and security, it ships with Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Finally, the setup is fueled by a beefy 4,500 mAh battery with fast charging support.
