Now in India, Samsung Galaxy Fold is up for pre-orders. Via Samsung India eShop and many other channels, the brand is taking pre-orders for its latest Galaxy Fold, just launched a few days ago in India. It is the first foldable smartphone of the company with a 7.3" flexible screen. Galaxy Fold comes in a single variant of 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of Internal Storage. The company sets the price for the Galaxy Fold at INR 1,64,999 for the single variant of 12 GB RAM and 512 GB onboard storage, and also it is available only in a single color variant - Cosmos Black. The company gets the pre-orders for the Foldable phone directly from the Samsung India eShops and selected 315 offline retail shops across 35 cities, including Samsung Opera House, Bengaluru. The shipment of Samsung Galaxy Fold starts on October 20.

The company offers Android Pie 9, instead of Android 10 version which is coupled with Samsung's own One User Interface (UI). It is the first phone of Samsung, which comes with a dual display. On the front, it gets a flat-screen of 4.6" SAMOLED panel with the Full HD+ resolution of 840x1960 px with the aspect ration of 21:9. It also gets an internal display that is foldable. It is 7.3" Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED screen, which comes with the resolution of QXGA+ 1536x2152 px and with the aspect ratio of 4.2:3.

It is powered by a octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor, coupled with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of onboard storage. Users can't extend storage using a dedicated memory card. For photography and videography phone gets a triple rear camera module at the back and dual camera module on the front for selfies, and the phone also gets a single selfie shutter on the cover.

The rear camera includes, a 16 MP ultra-wide primary lens with the aperture of f/2.2 and a sensor with Dual Pixel autofocus camera that supports OIS and a variable aperture of f/1.5 to f/2.4. The phone gets a 12 MP telephoto lens with PDAF, OIS, with the aperture of f/2.4 that supports two-times optical zoom. In the front, the phone gets 10 MP primary camera with the aperture of f/2.2 and the secondary 8 MP RGB depth lens with the aperture of f/1.9. On the cover, it gets 10 MP camera with the aperture of f/2.2.
