The Galaxy Fold incident has been ongoing trouble for Samsung. Early reviews have pointed out that the foldable phone is far from ready to be launched to the market. This was confirmed by DJ Koh, the company’s CEO himself. He said that the Galaxy Fold was released before it was ready and the whole thing was an embarrassment for the company.

CEO DJ Koh shared with the public some details on the situation and also his feelings about everything. What he said was he felt embarrassed and that he “pushed it through before it was ready.” Koh also said that the phone “missed” something.

It seems like Koh wanted to take all the blame for the initial failure of the Galaxy Fold, but some other Samsung executives said that this is a result of the company’s “do what you can’t” philosophy.

Koh shared that the Galaxy Fold was in the recovery process. More than 2000 devices are under mass volume testing so that the company can find where the problem lies. He said that the reviewers have found out about troubles that the company did not even think about, including the fact that the film on the screen goes off too easily and the hole that may let dirt and debris to access the inside of the device.
