Redmi Note 8 Pro Leaked Images Show Similar Design To Redmi K20 Series

Redmi is gearing up for the launch of its mid-range devices in the Redmi 8 lineup. Recently, the Redmi 8 appeared on several hands-on photos spotted on August 19. Now, leaked images of the Redmi Note 8 Pro also surfaced online. According to the past naming conventions of the company, this phone is expected to be the most premium device among the upcoming mid-range phones.

The phone appeared on a set where TV commercial was being recorded. If it is true, that seems to be a first in the mobile phone industry. As per the images, you can have a glimpse of the rear design of the phone, which seems to be similar to the K20 phone and its Pro variant.

Additionally, as you can see, the camera module is no longer put in the upper-left edge of the phone. Instead, it is vertically aligned in the middle of the rear panel. The camera setup includes 3 sensors and there is a fingerprint sensor below these cameras. That means the upcoming Redmi Note 8 will not feature an on-screen fingerprint sensor.

The placement of the Redmi logo is also identical to that of the Redmi K20 lineup. The color green in the rear finish of the Redmi Note 8 looks darker around the center part, which reflects the image of the K20 series smartphones.

So far, the information about the configuration of the Redmi Note 8 Pro has not been revealed yet. Anyway, you still know that it will feature a triple rear camera setup including a 64MP sensor. Additionally, Lu Weibing, Redmi’s CEO, has recently revealed that the upcoming series will be packed with a bigger battery, higher screen-to-body ratio, better hands-on feeling, and improved camera performance.

Generally, the Redmi Note 8 series will be much better than the Redmi Note 7 series. Other renders also revealed that the upcoming Redmi Note 8 series will feature a3.5mm audio jack, USB-C port, and thin bezels.
